La Thaïlande est un pays dont le paysage éclectique de l'orient, et l'occident entre en perpétuelle collision. Terre d'accueil pour plusieurs la Thaïlande peut-être quelque peu comparé aux États-Unis de l'Asie. Son nom Thaïlande signifie d'ailleurs pays des hommes libres. Cette particularité se reflète aussi dans le tempérament de ses habitants qui sont extrêmement fiers, indépendants et ouverts d'esprit à l'égard des étrangers. Malgré l'influence occidentale qui se fait sentir les Thaïlandais, lutte pour conserver leur identité culturelle.
Il y a Plusieurs Thaïlande physiquement et culturellement différentes. Tout d’abord, Bangkok, la mégapole hyperactive et monstre urbain où l’on se perd. Puis le sud, ses îles, ses plages, ses rocs jaillissants de la mer et sa cuisine plus épicée. Enfin le nord, la Thaïlande originelle, avec ses anciens royaumes, son rythme de vie détendu, ses milliers de temples bouddhistes et sa terre fertile. Elle offre un environnement amical, sécurisé et une vaste étendue de possibilités aux voyageurs d'affaire, d'aventure ou de loisir.
Son architecture est fabuleux, divers village de montagne figé dans le temps, des ruines anciennes, de magnifique ile aux plages paradisiaques et de l'excellent magasinage. À vous de choisir de votre circuit. L'hôtel 5 étoiles ou l'auberge de fortune, le restaurant gourmet ou le restaurant itinérant sur le bord de la rue. La Thaïlande offre un curieux mélange de sophistiqué luxueux ou typiquement simple, sans prétention et à peu de frais.
D’un bout à l’autre du pays se retrouvent les qualités nationales : une forte identité, le Siam n’ayant jamais été colonisé, un sens aigu des conventions sociales, et aussi beaucoup de pudeur et de dignité. Une grande dévotion religieuse et une quasi-vénération pour la famille royale.
La Thaïlande mérite largement sa popularité. Son accessibilité et ses exceptionnelles infrastructures touristiques attirent plus de 10 millions de visiteurs annuellement. Le passé riche de la Thaïlande avec son architecture, sa nature luxuante, son art et sa religion en justifie sa découverte. Ce pays et une incontournable destination de rêve.
